This is just a reminder for the calendar folks, remember the deadline is december 1st but because this thread is going too far nack -- I decided to post a reminder.

Okay, I put a lot of effort into this, so I did'nt expect it to turn out so crap.
I did'nt rush it, I'm just too rusty. I will persivere (However its spelt) and get cracking on making it better.
I will try to color it in that forgoten 3-D sort of way I used to try and do.
Man, I wish I'd left this to the profesionals...

If you're too lazy to make your own Guy Fawkes, use your little sister!
Very nice picture. Bart's and Lisa's proportions need a bit of work (particularly Lisa's torso is too long), but I like their expressions. Maggie's too, excellent. Cleaned up a bit, this will be another great addition to the calendar.

You don't want to hurt  or  on this board while Sergey, Marco and I are around. We will defend them - we would defend anyone, I know they are just pics, but why like this? that's something only you know. Sorry, but with all due respect that maggie pic with the rocket on her back is not going into the calendar. Why the unpredictable way to change my mind: well too much violence, I think most of us here agree with the descision. I like your art but if you are still interested, could you draw something non-violent. |

I understand.
I'm sorry. I dont have, and never have had, the frame of mind to draw a happy picture that I like.
In case you dont get me, November is now free. Everyone of these artists I'm sure can make a better picture than mine, so I'm sure there's no problem in them taking it.
I'm so depressed now. I really wanted this, I loved being apart of the idea. But I guess one persons opinion can change another's mind.
I hope I'll be around to catch the finished product. Good luck.

Look, everything I do is allways in some way or another, harmful to somone else. Before I could'nt give a shit, but theres more to it than that. I know that no matter how hard I try, It wont make a difference, I get an idea, I draw it, I post it and before I know it, I've just drawn a picture thats too fucking harsh.
Please, dont think its your fault, its not.
I'm going to sleep now. When I wake up, I want this to be the last thing on my mind. So I dont get pissed off about it. And maybe contemplate what to do next. I just need more time away from anything to do with Simpsons or art.
Your a good person, and as cool as they come. Dont be offended by this. I'm sorry again.

i don't really agree with the descision, i like the picture. this is why i've decided that i'm no longer going to contribute to the calender, nothing personal against anyone, i just feel that changing your mind about the picture, is a bit harsh, and un-justified really...so yeah thats it really  |
