I should've registered here long time ago... well I did have been drawing with my own series and I do want opinions and recommendations on my art.  I'm not relatively a good artist and I don't have a particularly a good art background (lack of instruction, mostly) to begin with.

Anyway, here're my arts.

Here are some questions:

1)  How can I color my arts digitally?  This drove me crazy ever since I was acquainted with internet fanarts 2 years ago.
2)  Is there a tutorial for it?

Thanks

Wow, nice to see a new member with such good art!

I really like these. I think the characters' heads are occasionally too big, though, like Lisa's in the "The Adolescence" picture, or Milhouse's in the one above, and the hair sometimes looks a bit sketchy. I'll leave the more substantial critique and tips to those who actually have a clue about drawing, but I find a lot to like here. Nice to see Ruth in fanart, too. I don't see that too often.

Who's the girl in the first picture? Or is that an original character of yours?

Like I said, I can't really help you with your requests, but the ever-talented artists on this board most likely can.

Well... Lisa, I guess I spent some time over-shortening the body to the head since I didn't want them to look like adults instead of teenagers.   I used to have characters' head too small and they didn't really look Simpson-y though.  I don't have an excuse on Milhouse though, since I'm still puzzled on how to draw his body.  Yeah, i do admit that hair is sketchy and sometimes look messy do to the fact that I don't really like using erasers and don't know digital editting... Ruth fanart was done by a request, btw

Original character of mine, yes.  But the appearance was slightly based on Ms. Pennycandy
