I did my first try at painting on Open canvas.   They are not simpsons, but I hope they can be accepted here just as art.

You guys remember the Rescue Rangers, right?   A cartoon classic from the disney afternoon slot during the early 90's

I watched a lot of Rescue Rangers as a kid, but I don't remember these two.  Still, a very nice drawing!  You've really got that Disney style down pat!

Thank you , Terry!     Ahh, those two only appeared in one episode Grin.  They are Binky and Tammy from the episode "Adventure in Squirresitting".

Ooh, Tammy was one of my favourite characters! I remember wishing she was in more episodes.

I agree with Terry about the goodness of the style. (And I love the tufts on Tammy's ears.) I find nothing to nitpick about in the proportions, and I like the details on their clothes and Tammy's hairstyle.

On the downside, the colouring jars a little bit with me. It's got a nice oil-painting feeling to it, but it just feels too rich and heavy. It's as if my eyes don't get any rest; there's colour everywhere. Bear in mind, I'm not an artist nor an art expert, so you might want to take my views with a grain of salt.

Good picture, anyway!

Thanks Chris!  Well, some one does not have to be an artist to see this errors, as they are way too noticeable.    I over saturated the colours on photoshop instead of soften them up, a big mistake.  The fact of my rookieness on Open Canvas is well, scary.  I could not even pick the right colors, and I was too lazy to try and look for colors.   Like Tammy's colors are way off.
Thanks for the concrit. Smiley   Also , I'm just a begginer painter.  I'll learn as I color more and more, but paiter is a more friendly program that this one.  Colors are more easy to choose, and mixing them one with the other one works better.   At least for me.  Wink
