It looks very nice to me! The poses and the expressions are very good, and there's a nifty touch of style in the modelling. Nice, pleasant stuff.

I'd bet it would've taken me longer to figure this out if I hadn't been watching reruns of TaleSpin lately. Grin

The pic itself is quite nice. (I'd ask about certain changes regarding the non-Simpson, but I'm not sure I wanna know...)

Nice to see you back, Omar!

As for the picture... your colouring is as nice as always, and the subject matter is lovely. I want to be there with them! Lisa looks good, in your own style, and I like her expression, but something seems a bit wrong about her proportions. Maybe her head is too big.

I don't recognise the other character (I assume it's a TaleSpin character that I don't remember). I'm not really a judge of Disney style, but she looks good to me. Seeing a Groening style and a Disney character together feels a bit odd, but it's probably just the fact that I'm unused to crossover art.

Lovely calendar picture.

For what it is it's not bad.  The coloring is nice.  My only quirk is with Lisa's feet, or lack there of.  This is why we "draw through the forms" instead of just guessing because it looks good to us.  Notice how if you were to see Lisa's feet through the surf board they would be practically broken and folded up to her ankles.  It's just little details like that you should be looking out for becaues they could kake or break a picture.  I'm not gonna hound you about model because it's obviously drawn in your own style, but lisa's teeth do look wierd.  *i'm giving you more advanced crit's because you're one of the few here that have the skill but just needs little refinement.*  On that note here's some other stuff.  The other girl's face is follwing a perspective but Lisa's isn't.  Lisa's arms look too relaxed, don't forget she's hanging on from the back of a plane like a water ski, her arms should be straight out in front of her because the force is pulling her.  What is keeping her backpack on her back?  It looks like it's just stuck on her, shouldn't there be shoulder straps?  I can see why Lisa is a little scared but what is the expression on the other girl?  I think you could have really made this a dynamic picture, but like I said for what it is it's fine...besides those details I mentiond.  Good to see you back.

Hey, you are right.  I cannot understand how I forgot about those straps. *hides under the table*  Really Morpheus, this is what I love from con-crit. Honesty. I know there is some other mistakes, like Lisa's board shadows, because it shouldn't be like that at all.  I guess this is what happens when you have so much to do and when you are focusing more on colors than on shapes and perspective.  Again, I didn't notice about Lisa's backpack till' now, how ashame. *lol* And you are right about her feet, since I didn't care at the moment about how they were suppose to be located under that board.

*Lol*  That backpack is just floating around , guys!   Floating around!  Arghh!  Grin

Also, her weight and the speed. I need to pay attenting to details or it will tend to be confusing.  Chris already noticed that Lisa's head was too big, but is just a matter of perpective, it should be further away than the rest of her body, if I'm not wrong?  The Hair, well, we all know she has a huge head, a pineapple one. Smiley

The Other girl by the way is Molly Cunningham, daughter of Rebecca Cunningham, perhaps this pictures can help refreshen your mind.  They were part of the disney afternoon back on the 90's (One of my favorite shows maybe even more than the simpsons)*hides again*  why deny it I'm more of an antropomorphic artist than anything else.

Here are some Molly pics:

And about what it is, well, yeah, a calendar, nothing oficial and I was never trying to make it so.  I'll do that in some other time when time is mor eon my side, and probably at the end of my first year, who knows.   This semester was almost  just history classes, and core courses.

Thanks again for your feedback Dane, and I hope to see you online soon.  I have internet connection again. Grin

This is my addy Opus0987@yahoo.com I hope we can chat after I come from my week vacation.  Yeah, guys.  Tomorrow after a long , long wait, I'm finally going to forget *for a week* about everything there is to forget, and just have fun.  I will bring pictures.   Till' Later!

Sorry for not answering your question earlier , Alex, yes an animation major, but unlike some of the major animation schools in the us and canada, this school offers also 3d.  I'm just starting my second semester, and the fun is all about to start, since the first was mainly history and some other core courses.

CAAV is a small school, but it has 3 campuses, so its good.

I hope you can understand spanish. Smiley  this period I just passed was not much fun, but they are the roots.  I'm hoping to get a biger schoolarship for next period, then go from there.  And about plans  for the future.  I'm not thinking of a majojr motion pricture compay, I'd prefer something freelance as you are better paid or maybe ajob overseas, only time will tell, that, and a lot of sacrifice.  I think Morpheus knows what kind of sacrifice I'm talking about and so you too, as you are going tru the same deal as me, just in a better school. Thanks stretchdude, Fernie and Chris for your opinions and honesty.   It feels good in here, just like a second home, a virtual one. Smiley
