 Looks definatly somthing I could pick up from the local store, so... your mission is acomplished Cheesy

Bart is very on model. Thats what has me so amazed by this. Plus we dont see Bart often here, even if he is most welcome to join in occasionaly.  Bart!

Here's my newest Animation

Flash 3 - Pilot

Instead of making Maggie the Game I decided to make a series of Flash animations using its concept.

It features three zones from Sonic, Bridge (Sonic the Hedgehog 8 bit), Scrap Brain (8 bit graphics, 16 bit music), Tidal Tempest (Sonic CD).

This is also the first to feature Lisa.

Ahh.. good ol' Sonic CD... huh?  Oh right, the Flash.  Well, it may not be a game anymore, but it's still interesting.  Some nitpicks:

Maggie walks out of, and into the frame on the Bridge level.  Also, the water part leaves a small gap on the right.

Maggie appears in the frame during the transaction from Bridge to Scrap Brain.

Maggie's descent in Scrap Brain seems awfully slow.  I realise she may be using her dress as a sort of parachute, but still.

Her pause goes on just a tad too long.

It's 'laid', not 'layed'.

I thought you weren't going to use the spin jump animation?

The water (both in Tidal Tempest and Bridge) doesn't move.  I realise this may be difficult to animate, but generally waves don't stay where they are. Smiley

The last two dialogue boxes between Lisa and Maggie disappear too quickly.  And again, Lisa and Maggie walk off into the frame.


But with that said, not a bad job!  I'm looking forward to the next installment. Smiley  Now, if you excuse me, I'm off to play Sonic CD...

Both of those are because you're viewing in full screen. If you were to download it and view in Flash Viewer, it'd be it's actual size and you wouldnt see it.

True. I'll speed that up.

As you said, difficult to animate. I once animated ground (Hydrocity) moving and it took 190 frames.

Wow! This just great , Gary.  I never thought someone would do such a thing.  I agree with Mage's opinions abour the speed and some other things, but one cannot deny that this is a jewel.  I'm also waiting forthe next installment.

In fact, let me know if you need some art for the dialogue. You know I love to draw Maggie and Lisa.  Wink

Speaking of art, I think the Lisa pic could acutally be better, I like the Maggie one, I just need to redraw it and make it larger, but the Lisa one, isnt great, I searched my grabpic collection and couldnt find a good Lisa pose (and I have over 130 Lisa's so that says alot) so if you could come out with a nice smiling pose that would be sweet. So thanks for the offer. Smiley

I saw MT2, gary, and even though I didn't have time to register, I noticed that you planned to cancel the game, and just make animations. I really hope you reconsider this. I would love to play this game...

Nah. It would require too much programming and editing of the zones to do. Sides the animations of the sprites in the game probably wouldnt work.
