Aww... poor lonely Lisa.

* Dagdamor gives Lisa a warm pillow

At least she sees far from this position. Undecided
Great job, Frank. The coloring of the background is very impressive.

Awosome job, very simbolic

My main nit-pic is that, she seems too firm, considering it would be quite cold up there. Maybe if the back would arch, the legs closer together, and crossed arms would look more plausable. But nether-the-less, she isnt actualy there, since its in her mind.

I love the dark surrounding colours, making Lisa stand out a mile. Lisa herself is shaded nicely, the dress where it is folding is shaded beautifuly. Her skin is a more realistic yet Simpsonic shade, especialy the hair.
Her expresion however doesnt really give her a sence of self-pity. I think because she has her head up, more like a 'I'm not bothered' experesion.

The background is very impressive... I'm sorry but I have to ask, is that your doing or a picture from elsewhere? Which ever means, its great! Though, if this is any nit-pick at all, its a little too realistic. I like the clouds though, they look a lot more like the Simpsons.

The sky is very nice too. The gradient of light in the stars to dark within the rocky mountains is good. And ofcourse, gotta love those stars.

All in all, I love it Smiley
Keep it up mate!

And here I am. Thank you for that fast reply. *gives everyone a hug*

Everything on that picture I drew without help. For the mountains I brusehd some color on that dark blue and used the relief-effect and some other art-effekt to make them look more realistic.

Oh, Lisa wasn´t the heardest part, the heardest part was the Lisa... (got that quote?  Smiley )
I drew about 2 hours on that coloring of her skin and dress.
Okay, you are right, she should look more like she´s freezing... but it´s symbolic, she isn´t really *there*. But she feels like it... so she should freeze... I mean, you feel cold if you are lonely, too.

is that from a pink floyd song?
The quote in my post, that ryme, is from "bike", right.  Smiley

The quote in the picture is from my own character creation "CargoOfDarkness"... I notice he has a lot in common with Lisa. Often depressed, smarter than average...

You know that song "Mad World", the version Michael Andrews sang? It is a perfect song for both caracters, Lisa and Cargo... and I love that song so much, my favorite. The original from Tears For Fears is also great, but a bit too party-like... It was the inspiration for that pic.
I am babbling...

Thanks and carry on!

Ok, I hope you don't mind that I waited until now, but I wanted to dedicate my 1000th posting on this one. Wink

I must admit that I wouldn't have recognized the Pink Floyd song anymore, I guess I should listen to my collection again... Lisa's proportions are a bit off in some places (her left feet is a bit too small, although that could be the perspective, and the foremost pearl of her necklace is too large - or the others are too small), but the atmosphere is just great. Very moody, and both the colors and your coloring techniques tell quite some story. Her dress is very well done, and so are the mountains - they look almost like an oil painting. The shading on her skin is very realistic as well, and so are the clouds. Great work! Lisa!
