Probably not the best idea to post art at this time of change, but since this is my prefered way of being active on these boards, I'll show you my 'projects'

This is a sketch to resemble a place I go to on many occasions called 'Morcambe'

I tried drawing the background around Lisa, rather than Lisa, THEN a background. I love Morcambe... the only problem with it is its neighburing town, Blackpool (seen in the background). Morcambe is left with very little good attention, which is possibly why Lisa is sad such a beautiful place is just left in favour of the more glamourish town.
Or Maybe I'm just putting too much thought into it 


Next is a picture inspired (not taken from by the way, 'Inspired'. I dont think this is a part of the fan fic because I've only just started it!) from D.B's fan fic, Gently

Not much I can do to explain it. Except I'm serious about learning new angles for Simpsons, this just happened to be Lisa. *whistles*...


Anyways, thats my art update for now. Not really much credible stuff but, I'm trying to get more drawing done for the future

Anyway, I like the attempt you've made on the second picture. Drawing character at odd angles is always difficult.

Yay new art!

First pic: I love the detail in this picture. I don’t know much about perspective but here goes: it looks good up ‘til the third house, where the path seems to veer upward more than it should. The buildings in the background appear to be sloping down to the left, and the houses could have done with a ruler. Lisa, I think, could be leaning her weight on the railing more. But it’s a nice atmospheric pic.

Second pic: I haven’t read this story yet, but the creature under the bed looks sort of sweet. I’m guessing it wouldn’t like me saying that. Good idea to try different angles: again, I’m not so good with perspective, but I think Lisa’s upper lip would be visible over her hands, and you need a kind of bumpy line to indicate where her knees would be. I like the way you’ve indicated pressure on the bed with those lines. Any plans to shade or colour?

All in all, I’m glad to see these pics – and good luck with further angle-learning.

Thanks for the con-crit! If I get around to colouring or shading them, I'll bear what you said in mind Straight lines are much easier to do on computer 
I'm not so good with perspectives because of my drawing style. Its my own fault for not listening to the guides but, nevermind. Maybe in another 3 years

Certainly more so than Oldham
But if you think about it, Blackpools ol' ferris wheel, the tower, prominade full of gambling and arcades... its much more glamerous than the rest of the coast. Its only real let down, is the beach and its past stories. Morcambe however has great potential, but the councils wont allow any competition between the two. Kinda, sad in my silly little head.

Compared to Yarmouth, it's Monte Carlo...

As for the pics, am I right in assuming that these are ink sketches in their own right and not traced/cleaned up from pencil sketches?   If so, that's a pretty impressive job given that you won't have used construction lines or perspective lines/vanishing point etc and or even have been able to rough in anything!   As Beb pointed out, the perspective in the Morcambe pic isn't bang on but if it's done without the use of guidelines/vanishing point it's still a pretty good job and could easily be sorted if you decide to do more work on the pic and it still conveys a nice sense of distance.
With the Gently pic, that looks like a tricky angle but you've made a decent job of it and again, presumably without construction lines   
My one nitpick would be that Lisa's legs look a little too thick, or her arms a little too thin - nothing major.

...you forgot my favourite part of Blackpool - the trams!!  makes the place unique. 
i love Blackpool even if it is cold and windy and the shops are a bit tacky lol
