Something that's been going around my head for a while. This is a thread where we non-artists can suggest requests for pictures, and any artist who likes can take them up. Because, well, I've noticed the art boards have been rather dead recently, and this might give artists more ideas.
I put this in Critic's Corner because I thought the idea could be used for any kind of art, fanart or not, not just Simpsons and Futurama, but of course that doesn't mean you can't suggest those two fandoms.
So, anyone with a suggestion for a picture, go ahead.

Aww heck, why not:
I'd love some Waving-based fanart; one particular image I have in my head (from an upcomming fic) is adult!Lisa and adult!Maggie cycling through a park on a sunlit day in autumn, caught in the middle of a very enthralling conversation.

OK, I have one. A seasonal one, too.
Fry and Michelle singing karaoke ("A Fairytale of New York", to be precise) at a New Year's Eve party, right at the end of 1999. What could have been, I suppose, had Fry not been forced to work overtime.

Request the second:
I've had this very clear mental picture in my head - yes, of yet another Waving Piece. It's Maggie, Bart and Lisa on Christmas morning - all of them grown up and half-exhausted, sitting around the table in the Simpsons' kitchen drinking cups of coffee. Bart's said something funny and has a sacrastic grin on his face - Lisa's laughing - Maggie's perhaps laughing the loudest and trying the least to conceal it. Marge is in the background, dishing up some food in her robe and curlers, and through the kitchen window we see Dante and Antonia throwing snowballs at one another, being attended to Laura. At the very corner of the picture, there's a thumb - obviously Homer's, pressed to the lens.
...Heh, I know that's ultra-exact and greedy, but that's my mental picture.

*shove* Yeah, Hi again! I'm in the future... Well, I gave it a try, and it ended up a complete utter flop from every angle of approach. I had it in mind of Lisa riding next to Maggie, Lisa on the right, Maggie on the left (from the veiwers perspective), Lisa raised one arm in conversation while Maggie enthusiasticaly listens. Or, that was my interpretation of Missy_misery's first idea. However, I just couldnt do it. Sorry. I've uploaded how far I got before I said enoughs enough. Hopefully, with any luck I'll try this again sometime in the future and get all the perspectives right-ish. I'm guessing this would be MUCH easier with construction lines, so I need to re-learn how to draw the Simpsons from stratch again. Damn it!

Kind of an old thread to be posting in, but it's stickied so.. One request that I have and that I'd really like is for someone to draw the very last scene of "Paradox Lost" (with Lars and Leela in Applied Cryogenics, standing in front of the window), with Lars's line above it. I absolutely cannot get this out of my head.

fundamentally, you're just stuck asking and seeing if anyone is interested. Some description of how you want to appear in it (distinctive clothes? sitting typing at a keyboard?) and a reference photo (assuming you're happy putting one up on a foreign messageboard) might get people inspired. With a few exception though the art board's a little slow on simpsons drawings currently, so you may be out of luck (might also be worth trying at lisa-simpson.net, nohomers.net. deviantart has a surprising amount of simpsons fanartists hidden away, of varying quality)

I don't know if it would be a good question to ask, but can anyone color this? I'd just like to see what it would be like if my arts were colored http://img124.imageshack.us/img124/1043/vignette10xm2.jpg
