Lovely! As expected, Leela has a good strong horse-body. I love the pose - I think anyone's first reaction to that sort of event would be to try to stand on their back legs. Her shirt is nice, too.

Regarding the horse body... I don't think I'm allowed to come within two hundred feet of such beasts, but I thought the forelegs looked a bit odd, and looking at reference pictures, I think that maybe the arm (that's the upper part of the foreleg) shouldn't stick out so much from the body. To me, it usually seems to be more subsumed in the actual body, so to speak. But I haven't really looked at any rearing horses, and since I'm neither an artist nor an equestrian, take my nitpick for what it's worth.

Lovely picture. (I can see Fry bringing her sugarcubes and flowers to eat.)

Something for... you guessed it, parallel lives. This is going to be the next poster doodad. Smiley

The Scots (originally Irish, but by now Scotch) were at this time inhabiting Ireland, having driven the Irish (Picts) out of Scotland; while the Picts (originally Scots) were now Irish (living in brackets) and vice versa. It is essential to keep these distinctions clearly in mind (and verce visa).

Yay, Roman stuff! (And you knew I would love that.)

Looks nothing but good so far. I love the expression on Fry's statue, and Augusta Leela (all will be revealed when you read the story, folks) looks very sweet. A bit scribbly, so I'm looking forward to seeing it finished. And on a historical nitpick note, I think Fry's toga should be shorter.

I also like the plinth.

GRAHAM: Like this?
ALL: Too short!!1!!

Ahem, anyway, yes, also think it looks good, and am looking forward to the non-scribbly version Smiley

FRY: But it's hot here!

Nitpick: Leela's nose looks too small and should, I think, be attached to the bottom of her eye. Fry looks very dignified in a Fryish sort of way. I do hope he manages to dodge the assassinations.

Another strike for non-boring mermaids! And this way Zoidberg will find it easier to treat him successfully.
