As a partner to Steve's fanfiction thread, this one's for splendid art of the things we like!

The mighty Space Coyote has done a number of interesting Simpsons and Futurama pieces, and other unexpected fanart to boot.

And I know there's at least one or two other Harry Potter fans on this site, so I present you with the best HP fanartist on the internet, Makani!  She has a bit of a Malfoy and Death Eater fixation, but she's a damn amazing artist and I'm jealous/hate her for it, hah.

Share, share away!

Not fanart per say - however, one of my favourite artists ever is probably Mark Ryden, who does beautiful - but often quite warped - stuff. Think Grimms fairytales, but with The Teletubbies.

Just started looking at the Mark Ryden stuff -- 'Allegory of the Four Elements' is fantastic.

Not fanart either, but I can't miss an opportunity to point a giant foam finger at Ursula Vernon's main site. In the most recent update: the Feral Strawberry of Appomattox, Society Quail, various frogs and my avatar. Oh, and read Digger.

Bri-Chan wins at Disney fanart, and Sheana already beat me to Makani.  There're others, but those were the first two people to come to mind.

ETA: This girl does some excellent HP fanart, too.  Her take on the characters are some of my favorite interpretations.

Not fanart as such, unless santa is a fandom, but I found it absolutely hilarious for some reason.

This guy is quite excellent with the things that he draws.

not fanart per say, however, i did happen across what is claimed to be some of the concept art for cloverfield. Now i found this on the internet, so it's obviously a lie... but it's an entertaining lie, and in the end, isn't that the real truth? The answer is no; but it's still a fairly impressive sea beastie in its own right Smiley

http://img408.imageshack.us/img408/2163/cloverfield2uj0.jpg
and something i presume by the label is footage from the tie in video game (as you just know there will be one)

Aha, so *that's* where that pic came from. Neat, I've been looking for that for a while  Smiley

It's some sort of right-whale-elephant-seagull hybrid... Excellent! I hope somebody uses it.

Brilliant! Surely how Zoidberg sees himself in his more delusional moments.
