The Simpsons & Futurama Fanworks Central

Hi all.

I mentioned in chat a few days ago that I was beginning to work on a Futurama cast picture, somewhat like that large 360-odd character poster of The Simpsons cast from the first 8 and a half seasons. Since it's a huge project that will probably take a while (probably more than a year in fact) I thought rather than just release it when it's done, I could post the progress over time for all to see how it's shaping up. I'll try to update each week, assuming there's a decent amount of characters added that is. Anyway, here's how things are so far

Seymour! Hedonism-bot! Hermes! And A Cast Of Thousands!

Excellent (and extremely random) cast so far. I'm particularly happy to see Angleyne and the Were-Car, for some reason.

Very on-model. If I have a nitpick, it's that Seymour's ears are quite small. Looking at framegrabs from the episode, they should reach a bit further down the sides of his head. That aside, good luck with the project! It's going to be pretty awesome.

anyway, this is superb! It's a great idea, makes me wonder why there hasn't been one done before ( or not as I know)

That's incredible, Shockwave! Best of luck with this project! I hope you won't lose interest in this gargantuan Futurama quest until it's finished.

Very nice! I liked Craterface, because any show that does a "De la Terre à la Lune" parody is something special. And Robot 1-X, as you well know, just happens to be one of my favourite one-time characters.

Technically still good, but if I can make a constructive comment, I think 1-X should be floating above "ground level". He did that on the show most of the time anyway, and besides, that might fill up a bit of the blank space over the Were-Car.

EDIT: But then, there'll be more layers anyway, so I should have thought about that.

Thats going to be a lot of work. That could make for a fantastic wallpaper or something of the like.

Take your time, its a lot of characters but it should be fun. I'm surprised no one's done this yet.

Updated the file again this week with the following change...

• Moved Robot 1-X to a better position, hovering higher up instead of being rather low to the "ground" (as Chris suggested).
