I have seen this a lot of times:  "The way we was"  and I'm sure that the verb "was" doesn't go with the plural pronoun, it should be were.  So, why in the world they have it like this on lots of fanfics, and on the show as well?  I'm very confused. Huh

It's a dialectal thing.

The Scots (originally Irish, but by now Scotch) were at this time inhabiting Ireland, having driven the Irish (Picts) out of Scotland; while the Picts (originally Scots) were now Irish (living in brackets) and vice versa. It is essential to keep these distinctions clearly in mind (and verce visa).

You're absolutely correct.

The episode title is a joke, I'm sure. They couldn't use "The Way We Were", since that's already the title of a film. Or something.
