It certainly sounds interesting, a step towards what I imagine most fans were hoping for when the DVDs were announced.   I certainly felt a little disappointed that the new episodes were going to be re-hashed from the films so the possibility that we could see a totally original series (and hopefully more) is exciting.   I'd be interested to know who it is that's showing the "interest".   I suspect they'll hold off from making a decision until they see how the DVDs sell so here's hoping they go flying out of the shops.

I have mine on pre-order from amazon.com. No UK release date as of yet, but I'll be buying that too. Cos I'm a sucker. Grin

I've been curious lately that if they do bring it back in series form whether the next series will be considered to be Season 5 or Season 6, considering the movies are basically going to be the new Season 5 on TV?

If all of the movies are chopped up and strung together to make one season, I imagine they would indeed form the entirety of Season 5 - dunno about 6.

Delighted, if not entirely surprised.  This is sort of how Family Guy made it back, though
'Frama's had a much harder road.
