I have given this one lots of thought, actually it was kinda obvious to me, but my favorite and in my opinion the best Simpsons season is:

Season 5

What else to I have to say either than:
(1) Burns' Heir
(2) Treehouse of Horror IV - Homer and doughnut / Bart and the gremlin / Mr. Burns the dracula --- classic treehouse of horror and probably the best one
(3) Secrets of Successfull Marriage
(4) Lisa vs. malibu Stacey
(5) $pringfield
(6) Homer the vigilante
(7) Deep Space Homer
(Cool Lady bouvier's Lover
(9) Homer goes to college
(10) Bart gets Famous
(11) Homer loves Flanders
(12) Sweet Seymour Skinner's Badasssss Song
(13) Cape Feare
(14) Bart Gets an Elephant
(15) Homer and Apu
(16) Rosebud

***What else do I have to say I've never seen a season with better episodes***

Right behind Season 5 in my opinion:

Season 7
Season 4
Season 14
Season 2
Season 8

Season 12 is clearly and absolutely the best Simpsons season i ever saw, because it had fush guts, racoon invasions, bestiality and sex jokes and lots of cool and popular guest stars! And Homer was so funny, tee hee, he even got his thumb cutted off (that episode was stupid though, it had no plot)!
Season 11 was great, but there was too much Lisa and Marge, that's boring. Season 13 would have been good too, if only  Marge had kept her big boobs, cause she was hot!

man you had me going there. Ya season 7 was also very good. With mother simpson, homerpalooza, the conclusion of who shot mr burns, a 138th episode spectacular, some 22 short films about springfield, grampa's old war platoon of the flying hellfish, lisa getting some friends, and a return of sideshow bob.

Nice choice



o also just thought I'd let you know Marge got her implants in season 14 not 13. Not that it matters though

Whoops! There goes my very subtle sarcasm.... oh well!
Season 7 had Bart sells his soul, Summer of 4 pt 2, Mother Simpsons too. I don't have the list, but these ones were some of the best for me.

Hmm...tough choice. Me, I'd say Season 2, Season 6 and Season 7, simply because there were so many great (and now classic) episodes in these seasons. Season 3 and Season 5 were very good, too.

I agree. Season 5 was IMO a bit below average, but esp. 2/3 and 6/7 were really great.  Smiley
