My favorite tree house of horror was when Lisa and Bart were both in the itchy and scratchy cartoon,

I liked when they kept on going from channel to channel and there were two people were on a cooking show and bart and lisa just fell right in to the stew followed by itchy and scratchy chopping the eyes out of the guy.
I thought it was very funny.
that'd have to be my favorite episode Grin

The Shinning, definitely. And the one where James Earl Jones does Maggies voice! Grin

That's "Time and Punishment".

Personally, I'd choose either "Time and Punishment" (because the thought of a world ruled by Ned Flanders is too horrible for words) or "Citizen Kang". "The Shinning" and "Nightmare Cafeteria" were great as well. Oh, whatever. It would probably be easier for me to pick out the ones I didn't like...

Definitely Treehouse of Horror V for me. The Shinning, Time and Punishment, Nightmare Cafeteria, all classic stuff. The song and dance sequence over the credits is also one my all time favorite moments in The Simpsons.

No, that was Starship Poopers.  Hellfish meant Time and Punishment.  That's what he was quoting.

I have to say Time and Punishment as well, many great quotes come from that segment.

<Alexander> I mean... Graham and Chris.
<Blomman> really?
<Alexander> Yes.
<Blomman> not that i'm against that kind of thing, but isn't that like, uh, illegal in some states?
<Alexander> I could explain, but I don't want to. Cheesy

<Alexander> I've been fleshing out Mara's character, right?  Giving her depth?   In the meantime, what's happening to *me*?
<gkscotty> obviously she's siphoning off your "reality"
<Alexander> Dear God.
<Graham> She's a vampire!
<Graham> A lesbian vampire!
<gkscotty> pretty soon, it'll be Mara writing stories about Alex falling in love with Lisa.

HOMER: Look at that! I'm the first non-Brazilian person to travel backwards through time!
*Mr. Peabody and Sherman appear.*
MR. PEABODY: Actually, Homer, you're the second.
SHERMAN: That's right, Mr. Peabody!
PEABODY: Quiet, you.

Homer³ is great, too.

HOMER: Man, this place looks expensive. I feel like I'm wasting a fortune just standing here! *stands around doing nothing for several seconds* Well, better make the most of it. *belches*

Depends if you mean favourite THoH episode or favourite THoH segment?

My favourite segment is Dial 'Z' for Zombies from THoH III, but my favourite overall THoH is IV (Bart Simpson's Dracula, Terror at 5 1/2 Feet, The Devil vs. Homer Simpson).

Oh yes! The fog chorus line is my favourite musical number on the show, barely edging out "Amendment-To-Be" and the other good ones.

In THOH 3 were the zombies are trying break into Flanders home, but he just kindly opens the door and welcomes the nasty things in to his home. Ned is to kind for his own good.
