Saotome Ranko doesn't lose!

The two cute women in the upper-left have been seen throughout the series (the brunette much more often), and I'm thinking to make a list of every episode they are in.

You see a lot of the same extras sometimes, but these two seem to stick out more than anyone else to me.  Just who are they?

Edit: I've also been listening to a loop of "His brain is gone!" from Spock's Brain.  I don't know why I'm even mentioning it, but you can get it here: http://www.sherylfranklin.com/sounds/trek/mccoy/braingon.wav

Yes, I am bored. Cheesy

The brunette looks quite a bit like Michelle.

She does a little bit, but she's cuter. Smiley

I'm not going to watch every episode just to find them, but if you keep your eyes out they can be easily found if you're looking for them.  The brunette might be based on somebody in real life or something, considering how often she seems to appear.

Here she is again in "Jurassic Bark": http://www.futurama-madhouse.com.ar/grabs/4acv07/407nl-22.jpg

Really, if the writers are going to make the "Number 9 Man" important in the last movie then why couldn't they give this woman at least a few lines or something? Wink

Strangely enough, I always liked the clothing designs on them, especially the blond haired one.

I don't think they hold any significance though, they're a lot like a lot of the kids in Bart and to a lesser extent Lisa's class in the Simpsons; regular background filler that are just there for either familiarity or consistancy.

Who are you and what have you done with Tyrannus?

Tied him up in a random basement somewhere, why do you ask?

I didn't think I was acting that odd, especially since I only meant the ones with no name/lines like the girl with the braids or the one with the neat green glasses, I classify those that do have names and lines in more than one episode as tertiary characters or "underrated" (excluding Uter, who's mostly overrated). I'm sure that explains everything. Wink

Didn't you expound at length over the possible connection between some bizarrely-drawn background and the twins?
