Oh, this was a good one. "Bart with heart" episodes always work.
A well-paced plot, good writing, some funny jokes... It was a very solid episode all-around. Like I said, episodes showcasing Bart's human side always tend toward the "good" end of the Simpsons Meter-O-Quality. (I am honestly not sure whether the 4-H Club really is "still a thing," but whatever.)
I loved gags like the Trans-Clowno-Morphs, the manure turning into POTC 3 DVDs, and Homer punching Flanders for no real reason. And I loved the scene with Homer and Marge trying to get Maggie to eat spinach with sock puppets. Wonderful character moment there. And I enjoyed seeing Bart and Lisa bond over a Lisa-worthy cause. That was nice.
Overall, definitely on par with the better episodes of the season.
By the way: "Here's looking at you, cud." Cracked. Up.

This was the first "new" Simpsons episode I've seen in a while, and it was actually pretty good.
The "wedding" didn't really have much to do with things compared to what the preview art and stuff made it out to be.

I liked the part where Bart came right out and said that he didn't know what to do since he's just a little boy. Glad to see that the show still has a bit of realism, sometimes. Then again, like two minutes later he's breaking into the place with Lisa and operating heavy machinery.
Not bad.

I LOVED this episode!

Mary was a nice, viable new character! Lou was a nice animal character, if a tad anthromorphic! Cletus jokes that weren't horrendous! EMOTIONAL CONTEXT!!
Maybe the best of the season? Letter grade
