Okay, here we go: One of my favorite Love-Simpsons-Episode (what a word) is after all "Colonel Homer". There are so many good characteres in it, for example Lurleen, or Marge and Homer. And the jokes don´t fall under the table: Look, the scene were Homer is in the Powerplant and sing Lurleens song, and that he pull the switches off and on, and the electricity of Springfield is going on and off. *rofl* I was rolling on the flor. Or the specially the past episodes with Homer and Marge, and how they meet each other. That was so lovely. By the way: "The Way We Was" is IMO the best of those episodes and "Homers Barbarshop Quartett" the lesser good episode. One of the newest episodes that can be my favorite love-episode is "Grade School Confidential". The final in the schoolhouse, the dance of Simour and Enda, wohooo, I loved that! More of those kind of episodes! I could continue that longer and longer, but I want to make room for other lovers... eehm postings now! %1) %2) %4) %3) %5)

Oh, yes, love-Simpsons-episodes are some of the best Simpsons-episodes ever!!! At most they have got a good story and a lot of good humour! A one of my favorite-love-episodes is "Colonel Homer" cause of the wonderful music what makes the theme of the story more romantic than it already is! Further favorite-epis are: Barts Friend Falls In LoveThe humour of this epi is IMHO especially great! The Way We WasUndisputably it stays a one of the best love-episodes ever!!! It belongs thereto everytime!!! %1) %2)
Life On The Fast Lane A really great classic which I just like!
Two Dozen And One Greyhounds I like the much Disney-parodys and anyway I'm a big fan of sweet Santa's Little Helper!
New kid on the block I like especially the end!

If I have to cut them down to a bare minimum:
Life on the Fast Lane
Almost made me cry...
Lisa's Substitute
Whatever they say about this episode is true. Thank you, Sam Etic!
Whatever. I just can't be bothered. They're all good, but I don't understand love. See? I didn't even notice that word in the title.

'Grade School Confidential' will always be one of my all-time favorite episodes, simply because it's rather touching and the scene where Edna and Skinner dance is just beautiful.
Will think of more later....quite a few of the really good ones have been mentioned already.

"New Kid on the Block", without a doubt. If the mere presence of the beautiful Laura Powers weren't enough to lift this episode to the highest echelon, you get a plot involving Bart doing something every kid his age with a crush on an older girl would love to do, namely humiliate the jerk she's infatuated with for some reason--then get some respect from her when it's through. Plus, the devotion Marge shows Homer in the face of all that goes on in this episode merits consideration in a "love" thread.

Lisa's substitute is a gem, but another ep that shows a lot of emotion is "Bart the Lover". Man, you've gotta feel for poor Edna...and Bart certainly does in the end, seeking help from his family to right this terrible wrong. Homer's ideas for the letter had me in stitches... Homer: Welcome to Dumpsville, population...you. Homer: PS...I AM GAY! Homer: ...with a love that will echo through the ages. and the side story of Homer and his "Blankety Blank" mouth...now that was f@#*ing funny!

"Alone Again Natch-diddily" was both a love them and leave them story, Maude leaves Ned in death, and loves a christian rock singer......how romantic! I think, that in this episode the romantic is just very short and not really representing. It's mainly a sad leave-episode where the romantic doesn't real come to expression!

I'm surprised no-one's mentioned Lisa's Wedding. It's has quite a bit of love in it, with Lisa learning about one of her future boyfriends, a quick insight into what technology would be like in eight years time... Not by that much it seems. Sure, there's holographs and videophones, virtual bar games and cola-sponsored elementary school math classes, androids that malfuntion when they tear up, and tofu on a stick, but that seems to be about it. Besides, what hugh did for Lisa was kinda sweet, at least until Lisa found out that he hated her family. That must've been one hell of a pot of dirt Lisa came from.
Other good ones are Lady Bovier's Lover, because it's funny as hell, New Kid On the Block(anyone notice that Laura is what Makoto Kino(Sailor Jupiter, aka Lita) would be like Simpson-ised?)
