WOW, that fits in the subject line.

Anyway, downloaded, played and completed episode 1 today. Pleasingly excellent. Smiley Graphics are just right, writing is spot on, and while gameplay initially seems too hard, it gets much easier once you get the hang of the system where you have to press space with the right timing to dodge attacks.

If you hate Penny Arcade you might hate this, but it's got a lot to recommend it. I had about three hours of gameplay. Looking forward to part 2.

Gawd, I've already replayed the demo three times.  I'll have to buy the full episode once school gets out and I actually have a bit of time to play it.  Never thought I'd find myself loving a turn base game, but... it's Gabe and Tycho!

My only major complaint is that on my laptop the game runs a tad laggy unless I lower the resolution, but lowering the resolution screws up the colors of the 2D graphics.  Undecided  Also, the female characters seem to have much fewer options than the make characters in terms of customization, which isn't entirely unexpected but still disappointing.

Oh, and this is my character, Thalassa (no, I'm not on an Apollo Justice kick right now...).  The Create A Character set up amused me more than it probably should have; I recognized a lot of those character movements from The Sims 2 Create-A-Sim program (though maybe those are just standard create-a-character model poses and I'm woefully unaware of the fact).

Knowing PA, it's probably a deliberate reference.
