Visual effects mastermind Stan Winston has diedCry  He was known for his work on the creatures from Jurassic Park, Terminator 2, and Aliens.

Damn, even now I'm impressed by the effects of the movies he was involved with years ago.  I'm sorry to hear he's gone.

There goes the guy who inspired me to go study all that visual effects stuff at University... I'd kind of hoped I could meet him one day.

The Scots (originally Irish, but by now Scotch) were at this time inhabiting Ireland, having driven the Irish (Picts) out of Scotland; while the Picts (originally Scots) were now Irish (living in brackets) and vice versa. It is essential to keep these distinctions clearly in mind (and verce visa).

In the world it is called Tolerance, but in hell it is called Despair, the sin that believes in nothing, cares for nothing, seeks to know nothing, interferes with nothing, enjoys nothing, hates nothing, finds purpose in nothing, lives for nothing, and remains alive because there is nothing for which it will die.
Dorothy L Sayers

The hardest thing to explain is the glaringly evident which everybody had decided not to see.
