Apparently the legendary actor just passed away on Saturday night. While one can question is stance on guns, one can't question his performances in the likes of Ben Hur, The Ten Commandments, Planet of the Apes and Soylent Green, just to name a few of his films.

... crap. I never even got his autograph. D'you think he'll be able to hold a pencil in his cold, dead fingers?

They should put his corpse in the saddle of a horse and send it against the Moors!

Yes, very good actor. I think the newest thing I saw him in was a bit part in Kenneth Branagh's "Hamlet" (as the Player King, appropriately). He'll be missed.

Charles Heston was a wonderful actor and I liked his movies (Ten Commandments and Ben Hur), I was sad that he passed away today... but he acted in Soylent Greens? Who was he acting in that movie?

Lead character wasn't he?

Yeah, he was the main character. A detective investigating a murder.

They never mentioned his role in Wayne's World, while remembering all the movies he did.  Sad

Yeah he was a gun nut.  But he was a terrific actor, too.  I know I'll miss him.
